What “TIME” is it?

What “TIME” is it?

How many times have you asked or been asked that question?  But when it is asked, what are you meaning by the word “TIME”?

According to Webster’s dictionary,  time could mean a particular duration whether past, present, or future; a season; life in reference to occupation; age; or the state of things.

God reminds us of the importance of time: …behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.  2 Corinthians 6:2

On my last blog I looked at the population of the 4/14 window.  This next chart shows the percentage of children under the age of 15 around the world.  Since 85% of all who are saved will be under the age of 15 and children make up to 50% of some countries’ population, then certainly the “TIME” is now!

A video that has circulated the internet (advice discretion as to its accuracy) also shows the importance of time in regard to the time/age that we are now living in. As we are reminded in Ephesians 5:14-16: Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light.  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

In the Shenandoah Valley the season of opportunity is now:.

Ø  There is the opportunity to start Good News Clubs as an elective activity with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.

Ø  A training workshop has been scheduled in Harrisonburg to equip you to reach the children.  (see previous blog for details)

Ø  A training workshop has been scheduled in Winchester at Grace Community Church on June 5 and 6.  (see insert)

Ø  A Creation Discoveries day camp is scheduled for July 6-10 at Ralph Sampson Park next to Lucy Simms Community Center.  Volunteers are needed to help with the activities.

Ø  More day camps will be scheduled once final approval has been given from the Boys & Girls Clubs and Rockingham County Schools.

You can go to the U.S. Naval Observatory (http://www.usno.navy.mil) and get the official time for anywhere in the United States.  Better yet, we can go to the Official Time Keeper, and know that His clock is set and no one can change it.  Are we keeping our clocks set by His time or the world’s time?
